With over 40 years in Corporate America dealing with accounting, tax, auditing, legal, compensation and benefits issues related all the way from entry level employees to the CEO, Rebecca is well versed in the language of financial decision-making. She is uniquely positioned to translate complexity into simplicity and to integrate the separate concepts of accounting, tax, legal, and finance into a understandable picture.
She has led teams of people of all sizes for large corporations like The Coca-Cola Company, SunTrust (now Truist), Georgia-Pacific, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida. Her technical knowledge came from a B.S. in Accounting, a Masters in Human Resource Management, and a Harvard Executive MBA Program. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Her corporate career evolved from a Junior Accountant to a Senior Vice President and her executive positions required her to interact with the company Board of Directors regularly.
On the personal front, Rebecca understands transitions first-hand because she was married for 26 years, divorced and single for 20 plus years, has two adult children, three grandchildren, retired at age 65, and was executrix for her parents after they passed away with five siblings involved. So, she understands life transitions first-hand.
